LI ZENG | 曾丽
Li Zeng is a renowned connoisseur and independent researcher of Miao embroidery, also acclaimed as an Ambassador for the heritage promotion of this exquisite Chinese art form. She is the pioneering force behind the establishment of China’s inaugural museum dedicated to Miao embroidery, the Guiyang Miao‘s Tales Costume Museum, where she oversees as the founding director. Her literary contributions to the field, including titles such as 'Miao Embroidery,' 'Miao Costumes,' 'Miao Embroidery Pattern Source,' and 'The Secret Language of Miao Embroidery,' are the product of an impressive four-decade-long journey of fieldwork. Her dedication to documenting and safeguarding the Miao’s rich cultural tapestry has been instrumental in bringing the endangered art and skill of Miao embroidery to the forefront of contemporary society and the global stage.
She is the founder of the "Miao’s Tales" brand, which integrates traditional Miao embroidery with contemporary fashion design, and connects with the world with Miao embroidery.

曾丽,苗绣收藏家及自由研究者,中国非遗苗绣推广大使,中国首座苗绣主题博物馆贵阳苗疆故事民族服饰博物馆创始人兼馆长。出版《苗绣》《苗装》《苗绣图源》《The Secret Language of Miao Embroidery》,她用40年时间做田野考察,研究和整理濒临失传的苗绣文化和技艺,通过出版、展览、博物馆、讲座等方式传播到当代社会和国际,让人们看到苗绣里的美和智慧。
