The Women’s Diversity Forum presents a discussion at The Arts Center in Orange with special guest Ms. Mutahhira Noori (pronounced Mu-ta-ha-ra Nu-ri). All are welcome!

Mutahhira was born in Kabul, Afghanistan in 1989. After graduating from high school, she trained in human resource management and constitution building and then served for four years as a gender equality expert at the Independent Commission for Overseeing the Implementation of the Constitution in Afghanistan.

Mutahhira Noori emigrated to the U.S. from Afghanistan with her husband and two children in January 2020. Mutahhira is currently one of Sunithi’s students at Germanna Community College.

Mutahhira will talk about what she’s gained and what she’s lost since leaving her home country.
