Artist Gwendolyn Narkinsky will be joining us this July in the Community Gallery, using it as a painting studio! Stop by to meet her, see her work and learn about her process.

Wednesday, July 10, will be her first day in working in the studio space. Her open hours schedule for the month will be Wednesdays 12 - 8 PM and Thursdays 12 - 4 PM if you would like to come learn more about her work.

THE ARTIST

Gwendolyn Narkinsky is an emerging artist based in Fredericksburg, Virginia, and is currently enrolled at the University of Mary Washington. Narkinsky’s practice often focuses on the creation of large scale, nature-centric works that incorporate vibrant color and texture. The artist has previously exhibited at The Brompton Gallery, Liberty Town Arts, the Fredericksburg Center for the Creative Arts, and Art Works RVA.
