Join local artist Davi Leventhal for the opening of his month-long Portrait Studio! For the entire month of November 2023, Leventhal will use the Community Gallery as his painting studio.
During the reception on Thursday, November 2nd, he will accept portrait commissions from visitors starting at $100 + tax for a 6 x 6 inch oil painting on panel. Additional sizes are also available. After November 2nd, commissions will be accepted as time allows, so be sure to book your sitting early! Slots are first come, first served. You can also make your appointment in advance!
Davi will also offer handmade walnut ink, a traditional medium used by artists like Rembrandt and Leonardo DaVinci in their sketches, for sale.
Whether you’d like to commission a portrait or just want to see the artist’s process in person, all are invited!
Light refreshments will be provided. This event is FREE and open to all.
