BEATE CASATI

Owner and founder of Cavallo Gallery in Gordonsville, VA, German-born artist Beate Casati moved to the United States to study Fine Art at the Corcoran Gallery School of Art in Washington D.C. where she specialized in Printmaking. She is also a locally-collected painter and ceramicist. Beate's love for design and beauty brought her to custom framing in 1992 and she was a working artist in tandem throughout the years.
Beate is active in the community and is the founding member of Main Street Events LLC ( with fellow Gordonsville partners Well Hung Vineyard and The Nathaniel Inn), runs a blog named Love Gordonsville VA, and she is active in the Orange County Chamber of Commerce & on the Advisory Board of Orange County Tourism. Growing up and traveling in Europe gave Beate a great sense of color, history, texture and style. Her forward thinking sense of design, sense of artistry and strong work ethic have made her a favorite amongst her long time clients and friends.
