Join us this first Thursday to meet our artist in residence, Dennis RedMoon Darkeem. You will be able to see Dennis’ work from the past two weeks of his residency as well as ask questions, learn about his process and enjoy a public performance.

Dennis RedMoon Darkeem is an artist and educator whose work is inspired by creating community! His artwork reflects the many connections between people, history and environment using a variety of media.
Dennis draws on his Indigenous Yamassee Yat’siminoli and African-American cultural heritage to create his pieces. He incorporates traditional craft customs, storytelling, history, and ancient connections to earth and water into his artwork
Dennis RedMoon Darkeem will have his studio at The Arts Center in Orange from April 17 until May 5, 2023! Come visit him during our regular open hours, create some artwork with him, and learn more about the creative process from our visiting artist!
