Join us for a night of focus and meditation as we practice the art of Vinyasa Yoga with Amy Sellars.
Vinyasa yoga is one of the most popular forms of contemporary yoga. Vinyasa in Sanskrit’s literal translation means ‘connection’.
During Vinyasa yoga you will transition from one pose to the next creating a flow, rather than focusing on one pose for an extended period of time. Each pose will amount to a fixed sequence to be repeated.
Some benefits of Vinyasa yoga include:

Boost in sleep quality

Amy Sellars has been practicing yoga since a serious running injury over a decade ago. After the injury healed, she realized the positive change yoga had on my mind and spirit. Amy can practice yoga anywhere, but prefers to be part of a practicing community. She moved to Somerset, VA in Summer 2022 to start a farm with her daughter. Amy complained to my husband about the lack of yoga studios in the area, and he said, "Then open one." And, this is how ATHA Yoga was conceived. Now, let's practice!
