ART EDUCATION
AT THE ARTS CENTER
As part of our mission to increase the quality of life in our community, The Arts Center in Orange creates opportunities for artists and artisans to share their skills with the public. This is accomplished in many different ways, including:
Our donation and grant-funded Community Outreach program, which brings unique art experiences to traditionally underserved populations within our community.
Reduced-cost Fine Art Classes and Workshops led by local artists for all ages and Summer Camps for youth.
For those looking for a different experience, we also work with local artists and artisans to provide Private Instruction.
Young Visions, an annual exhibition presenting artwork by local schoolchildren and Art Adventures, a showcase of artworks created by Dogwood Village Senior Living residents.
During 2020, The Arts Center also worked with local artists and teachers to create Art at Home, a series of video art projects that could be completed at home.
